The Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office in commemoration of Islam Awareness Week brings to you the Race, Creed, and Popular Culture Series Discussion Group.  This discussion group will focus on analyzing and critiquing the depiction of Muslims and the Religion of Islam within popular culture. What role do the media play in shaping popular perception of Muslims and their representation within society? 
Does it create a positive or negative environment in our daily interactions? Discussion includes YouTube videos of: Stuff people say, TLCs, All American Muslim, Fox News, and Little Mosque on the Prairie.
