The University of Toronto Multi-Faith Centre, together with the Religion in the Public Sphere Initiative and Centre for Community Partnerships has won a three-year, $500,000 grant from Citizenship and Immigration Canada to bring together students, faculty, community leaders and youth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to build networks of communication, inquiry, and action around the problems and possibilities of living in a religiously diverse democratic and liberal society. As part of the Religious Diversity Youth Leadeship project, there is a Multi-Faith Certificate Training Program. The training will provide Multi/Inter-Faith Dialogue facilitation skills as well as integrate students and young adults into community service projects in the Greater Toronto Area. At the end of the series of programs participants will get a Certificate acknowledging their work from the University.
